Snowflake Lead Developer (Hybrid) at Cognizant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled lead with 8+ years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake Tasks Streams SQL and Snowpipe and Informatica. This role requires proficiency in English for reading writing and speaking. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that align with our companys goals and have a significant impact on our operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data architectures using Snowflake technologies to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Implement and manage Snowflake Tasks and Streams to automate data workflows and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion ensuring timely and accurate data availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain system performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Snowflake best practices and usage.
• Conduct regular reviews of data architecture to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies in all data-related activities.
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends to continuously enhance data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation.
• Document data architecture designs and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the companys purpose by enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Have Informatica ETL experience and able to understand Informatica workflows and mappings and debug
• Possess strong expertise in Snowflake Tasks Streams SQL and Snow pipe with a proven track record of successful implementations.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Exhibit strong communication skills in English both written and verbal to effectively convey technical concepts.
• Have a proactive approach to learning and staying current with emerging data technologies.
• Show a commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of data architecture design and implementation.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Jan 4th, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
