As a Data Scientist Associate in the PXT (People Experience & Technology) Data Strategy team, you will develop and maintain data architecture, standardized definitions, and comprehensive metadata. You will help ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance, supporting integration and migration efforts. You’ll work closely with business and technical partners, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

You will act as a subject matter expert for assigned data domains, document data lineage, and support the industrialization of data processes. Your work will enable data discoverability, understanding, and governance across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standardized data definitions and comprehensive metadata for assigned data sources
  • Analyze data sets to identify quality issues and implement effective cleansing strategies
  • Create and document detailed data lineage, ensuring traceability between data fields and sources
  • Build and maintain high-quality metadata to enable data discoverability, understanding, and governance
  • Support data integration and migration efforts as part of the industrialization process
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance policies within assigned domains
  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned data domains
 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Three years in data management, data engineering, data scientist or related roles
  • Strong analytical, data profiling, and problem-solving skills; able to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Proven ability to create, document, and maintain high-quality metadata and data lineage for complex data sets
  • Technically proficient in data management tools, data governance, quality assurance, lifecycle management, and data integration
  • Experience with data security, privacy regulations, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and clear reports
  • Collaborative team player with experience working across business and technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability; able to align data initiatives with business goals and adjust to changing priorities
  • Experience driving process improvements and optimizing data workflows
 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with advanced data visualization platforms
  • Experience in financial services or similar regulated industries
  • Experience with data cataloging and data discoverability platforms
