As part of the Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Organization (FRQA) within Corporate Controllership, this role is responsible for the US Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (QA) function.

The VP role is a collaborator, a well-organized, action-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and time management skills, confident in presenting, facilitating, and building a network of strong relationships across our organization. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of professional’s working on quality assurance reviews and financial analysis to ensure reporting accuracy of various regulatory reports submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and Office of Comptroller of Currencies (OCC). The individual will provide strategy for reviews, automation opportunities, and continuing to uplift the team.  They will also lead a global team providing direction to successfully deliver QA responsibilities and will work in close coordination with Regulatory Reporting, Finance Data Governance, Service Management, GL Assurance, Regulatory Automation and Change Management, Technologies, second line of defense, internal audit, and various other teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic thought partner in establishing regulatory governance, ensuring accountability, monitoring process health, and encouraging awareness of reporting requirements across the Company.
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory Reporting Governance policy (RRGP), Oversight Committee, and supporting documents under the policy.
• Ensure compliance with Enterprise ORE and Issue Management Policies.
• Manage the regulatory reporting training program.
• Oversee quality assurance reviews (Process, Control, Conformance, & Transaction testing) of regulatory reports, collaborating with peers to share observations and monitor closure.
• Support regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with the reporting guidelines issued by the FRB and OCC.
• Overseeing continued uplift of the quality assurance process including automation opportunities.
• Managing and responding to requests from regulators on an as-needed basis.
• Display thought leadership, drive process, and support work/life balance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA is a plus.
• 10+ years’ experience in various Banking/Financial Services, Finance, Risk, Control, or Audit.
• Proven thought leadership skills, effectively translating ideas into relevant solutions.
• Knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory audit or process review is a plus.
• Proven people leadership experience and ability to attract, engage, and retain high caliber global talent.
• Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills with a proven track of positively collaborating, influencing, and extensively coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms.
• Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and effectively manage in a matrix organization.
• A self-starter and strategic thinker with a passion to consistently deliver high quality service and exceed stakeholders’ expectations.

Salary Range: $176,750.00 to $282,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
