JOB DESCRIPTIONRoles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the test automation team and define the automation strategy, approach, and execution.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas for automation.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for test automation and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and tools.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of test automation and make necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
- Communicate test automation progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Tools Knowledge:
- Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI.
- Version Control: Git, Bitbucket.
- Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner.
