As a Product Solutions Director in Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB), you are an expert in enterprise data products and the data & AI platform lifecycle. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to craft complex, scalable solutions, partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify and capture opportunities, and create new ways for teams to continuously deliver value through innovative data & AI infrastructure.

The Director will partner with Lines of Business (LOB) leaders, Chief Data & Analytics Officers (CDOs/CAOs), and Platform Product & Engineering teams to identify, design, and enable high-priority, complex use cases. You will drive the translation of strategic business needs into end-to-end platform solutions, ensuring alignment, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with LOB leadership to ensure each LOB has a clear, prioritized book of work for platform – ensuring focus on the most impactful opportunities
  • Leads end-to-end solution design for the LOB use cases in collaboration with platform product managers and engineers to combine existing and new capabilities.
  • Leverages extensive knowledge of data platforms, data mesh architecture, and data lake technologies to manage the strategic development of end-to-end product solution strategies and processes.
  • Partners with business, technology, and sales teams to advise on strategic platform adoption, contributes to the development of enablement materials and training, and oversees responses to strategic  platform requests.
  • Manages the collection of stakeholder feedback and oversees the delivery of actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promotes the adoption of  data & AI standards, common file formats, and interoperability across data lakes and warehouses.
  • Champions platform convergence, reusability, and scalability to maximize business impact.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of product management experience or equivalent expertise leading and developing data platform solutions across multiple teams and products.
  • Extensive experience facilitating platform adoption, optimizing strategies and processes for data mesh, data warehouses, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Demonstrable experience structuring and delivering complex analytical and AI solutions for business problems using modern data architectures.
  • Proven track record implementing data platforms at scale, including experience or equivalent expertise with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills—comfortable engaging C-level leaders and technical teams.
  • Expertise in open data standards, common file formats, and open table formats.

  • Recognized thought leader in data platforms, data mesh, or related fields.
  • Experience driving organizational change and influencing adoption of innovative data solutions.
