Overview
Solution Architects lead and drive the overall solution architecture design, mapping business requirements to ensure smooth project delivery. This role empowers the implementation of functional solutions that are fit for purpose and delivered against stated business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertise and Leadership: Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within your field, leading the design of technical and repeatable solutions that meet customer requirements and drive positive outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business and operational stakeholders to conduct business and technical discovery. Collaborate closely to understand business models, functional requirements, and client challenges.
- Recommendations and Proposals: Establish robust recommendations, proposals, and scope of work documents for group engagements, identifying critical dependencies and gaps.
- Innovative Solutions: Lead the creation of innovative and repeatable solution architectures to resolve complex problems and meet agreed requirements.
- Influence and Transformation: Influence business stakeholders’ understanding of capabilities and the transformative power of our products, services, and technology.
- Team Enhancement: Enhance the solution architect team’s knowledge, methodologies, and customer-facing collateral.
- Alignment and Compliance: Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture guardrails and solution patterns.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute deep, technical thought leadership and provide advice on multiple technologies, setting the long-term technical direction of solution architecture.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead complex, group-level initiatives from a solution architecture perspective that are part of the company's overall commercial strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance solution architect processes.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach experienced professionals to develop current and future team capabilities and ensure performance.
