About the role

We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to support our Enterprise Sales teams to improve efficiency, performance, and revenue outcomes. This is a cross-functional role, bringing together data, tools, and strategic thinking to power the success of our customer sales motion

 

Core responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Arbor Enterprise Sales and Head of SAMpeople sales, with a focus on supporting the Sales teams through scalable processes, operational rigor, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of sales operations processes across Sales, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies and business goals.

  • Own the configuration, management, and enhancement of Salesforce (in collaboration with the GSE team), with specific focus on optimizing the Sales application to improve usability, automation, and data accuracy.

  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst manager to proactively identify performance trends, surface actionable insights, and inform key reporting that helps mitigate business risk and uncover growth opportunities.

  • Design and implement contract workflows, approvals, and compliance checks that streamline deal execution and reduce cycle times while maintaining integrity and accuracy.

  • Ensure complete and up-to-date data integrity across the ENT & SAMpeople customer base to support reliable forecasting, territory management, and renewal planning.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive playbooks for Sales teams that clearly define processes, best practices, and success benchmarks—enabling consistent execution and faster onboarding.

  • Partner with Head of Arbor Enterprise Sales and Head of SAMpeople sales leadership to set, track, and optimize key performance metrics—ensuring visibility into progress and accountability for results.

  • Take a proactive approach to identifying process bottlenecks and operational pain points, and develop solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across the sales funnel.

  • Act as a champion for innovation by evaluating, testing, and implementing new tools—including AI-powered technologies—to enhance team productivity, forecasting accuracy, and customer engagement.

  • Lead initiatives to ensure all sales opportunities are tracked, prioritized, and executed on time, and collaborate with Finance to resolve any invoicing issues or support cross-functional projects.

  • Support financial year planning through data analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to help inform resourcing, quota setting, and target development.

  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to support the successful rollout of new products and features, ensuring teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and insights to drive adoption.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Success (CS) team to ensure a feedback loop of insights, customer data, and signals that inform proactive engagement strategies and renewal readiness.

 

About you

We’re looking for a practical and proactive Sales Operations Specialist who has the following experience:

  • Salesforce Expertise – Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, with experience in workflow optimization and reporting.

  • Analytical Thinking – Able to analyze and interpret sales data to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Process-Oriented – Skilled at designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable sales processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales, Finance, Strategy, Enablement, and Customer Success teams.

  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.

  • Project Management – Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion on time.

  • Tech-Savvy & Innovative – Comfortable evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies, especially AI-driven solutions.

  • Attention to Detail – Strong focus on data accuracy and operational excellence.
