PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: up to £57,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. Essential Criteria:
• Expertise designing, building and supporting modern Cloud based applications using Typescript/JavaScript, NodeJS and AWS
• Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (CloudFormation, Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB)
• Expertise in modern development tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, Observability, Pair Programming, TDD)
• Proven track record of building software solutions with consideration to non-functional requirements.
• Developing software with scale, security and reliability in mind.
Desired:
• Experience developing systems using microservices architecture
• Experience developing systems using event driven architecture
