As a Software Engineer III in Asset & Wealth Management, you will design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will work as a key member of an agile team, carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support our business objectives. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues, contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion, and help drive innovation. Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
  • Ensure design constraints are met during software code development
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events
  • Explore new and emerging technologies
  • Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proficient in coding in Java (17+) and well versed in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
