What You'll Bring To The Table

API / Integration Development

• Strong proficiency in Java for building modern microservices
• API Design: Understanding of API design principles and architectural styles such as REST and GraphQL 
• HTTP Requests: Proficiency in making HTTP requests, handling API responses, and managing API rate limits
• Security: Knowledge of API authentication methods and security best practice

Data Services

• GCP Services: Familiarity with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for data handling and analysis
• Data Integration: Ability to integrate data from various GCP sources using tools like BigQuery external tables and federated queries
• Security and Compliance: Understanding of data security practices, including encryption and access controls
• Azure Services: Proficiency in Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure Blob Storage
• Apache Kafka: Understanding of Apache Kafka, including its architecture, components, and data streaming capabilities

DevOps & Cloud

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerisation and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms — Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure

Quality Testing & Automation

• Experience with automated testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Pact.

• Commitment to writing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested code
