Role Specification and Work Environment:

We are seeking a PLM Technical Consultant to perform Siemens Teamcenter deployment, upgrade, and configuration activities for digital transformation projects.

This role is customer-facing, involving collaboration with multiple project partners, and you will also be expected to participate in Atos Industry 360 competency and business development.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively within the extended project team and work independently when required.

Atos Industry 360 employs a flexible hybrid working model, though the work may be based at customer sites for extended periods depending on project requirements.

Must Criteria:

• A UK National and eligible to work in the UK
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (DV) clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Be an integral member of a project delivery team, working with the Project Manager and PLM Solution Architect to define and deploy solutions, solving customer business problems.
• Implement solutions, defined by the PLM Solution Architect, in line with customer requirements, involving installation, configuration, and testing of Siemens Teamcenter, Active Workspace, Patches & Upgrades, BMIDE templates, etc.

·         Assist in the provision of estimates for work and report progress on your project activities to the Project Manager.

• Produce and maintain relevant project documentation, including design and build specifications.
• Participate in Atos Industry 360 competency development, working with Competency Leads to help improve Atos Industry 360 offerings. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in deploying, upgrading, and configuring Siemens Teamcenter solutions in a consulting environment.
• Installation experience with multi-tier, high-availability, clustering, and security using Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM) and Deployment Center.
• Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues related to installation, upgrade, or configuration.
• Administration experience with relevant applications, including Organization, Preference Management, Workflow, Access Manager, Query Builder, and PLMXML.
• Configuration experience with Teamcenter utilities.
• Previous experience with IPS data upload is advantageous.
• Experience in scripting languages such as PERL, PowerShell, and Linux Shell scripts.
• Fundamental user-level Linux skills.
• STEM-based degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math’s).
• Willingness and ability to travel if necessary (within the UK and continental Europe).
