BMC’s SaaS Ops team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us and design, develop, and implement complex applications, using the latest technologies.Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:Network Design and Implementation:* Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure.* Develop and enforce network architecture standards, policies, and procedures.* Oversee network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to new technologies.Network Performance and Security:* Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.* Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and other security protocols.* Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.Troubleshooting and Support:* Oversee the resolution of complex network issues and escalations.* Provide third-level support for network-related incidents and problems.* Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime.Project Management:* Plan and manage network projects from conception through implementation.* Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.* Maintain project documentation and report on progress to senior management.Vendor Management:* Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers.* Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions.* Oversee procurement and maintenance of network hardware and software.* Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.* Prepare and present reports on network performance, security, and project status.* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
