About the Role
The Systems Administrator at Scale Computing works closely with the IT Manager to manage and enhance the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. This full-time, in-office role focuses on maintaining system reliability, providing technical expertise, and supporting critical IT operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional in-office IT support.

Work Environment
This role is based in a professional office environment and requires the Systems Administrator to work on-site 3 days a week & 2 days of work from home, with Wednesday as a mandatory day in the office to provide hands-on support for internal employees. The role involves regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and conference room technology.
Physical Demands
Primarily a sedentary position; however, occasional physical activity is required, such as setting up workstations, moving IT equipment, or assisting with office relocations.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, in-office position at Scale Computing, operating Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM( Morning Shift ), 2PM to 11 PM (Afternoon shift) Subject to Change when management needs another timing. Participation in an on-call rotation is required to address critical issues outside of standard business hours & weekends. Flexibility may occasionally be needed to support urgent operational needs or ensure system security and availability.
Travel
Travel for this role is generally minimal but may occasionally be required between Scale Computing offices or to customer sites. Additionally, attendance at industry conferences and training sessions may necessitate limited travel.
