About the role The position sits within our OCX vertical, responsible for online e-commerce experience across web and mobile. We are nearing the end of a multiyear journey of technical transformation and moving into the next exciting phase of building new propositions at H&B. Key responsibilities: • Operate independently without technical oversight • Consistently deliver high quality cross-functional software • Work closely with other departments when required to ensure project are completed on time • Understand the importance of monitoring and proactive in resolving critical issues – some exposure to monitoring and alerting platforms would be ideal • Collaborate and contribute to the various features being built as part of the product roadmap in a team • Be active in learning and sharing new techniques • Mentor junior engineers, enhancing their technical and professional skills • Be able to describe complex technical areas and practices to both technical and non-technical
