We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- The role will be hired with HTI Pune, however candidate will be working with HSCI IT at Mumbai location responsible for managing application support, testing, audit, risk and governance
- Primarily responsible is to handle L1 & L2 support activities for all local applications including Front Office and Back Office applications across all functions at the entity level.
- Responsible for Incident Management, Problem Management and Hygiene, including Root Cause assessment and follow-ups with internal/ vendor teams. Escalate serious concerns to Senior management in a timely manner. Prepare incident and quality dashboards for management reporting.
- Liaise with respective teams to ensure that application and infrastructure vulnerabilities are regularly monitored and patched as applicable. Compliance with HSBC and Regulatory Cyber Security framework to ensure identification, remediation, tracking is performed on ongoing basis.
- Demonstrate sound communication, presentation and influencing skills to work with business, IT colleagues, and external parties like vendors.
- Work with ITSO to support them in ITSO governance, IT Controls, BCP/DR drills, Market rehearsal participation, special trading occasions, Audits, Cyber Security governance and track these on a regular basis.
- Contribute to the IT Delivery team to implement “change the bank” initiatives/ projects and the Regulatory workbook.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of working in a Cash Equities and Derivatives Front Office Trading environment involving Algorithmic Trading like Omnenest,
- Comprehensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle process, including middle and back-office processes, upstream systems flow, etc.
- Certification: NISM SORM 7 or higher
- Mandatory hands-on technical experience with minimum of 3 years on Linux & Windows operating systems and databases like Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, etc.
- Good to have experience with India Exchange connectivity & co-location setup, messaging protocols like – FIX, XML.
- Hands on experience and knowledge of CI-CD tools like Jenkins, Monitoring tools, Automation tools, Jira, Confluence, etc
- Knowledge of Coding language like C, C++/ Python and Databases (Oracle)
