Embedded Services is Sage’s newest venture, helping third-party platform embed accounting and payroll technology into their products. This is greenfield business development, defining a completely new go-to-market motion inside Sage. This is your chance to help launch a disruptive embedded accounting offering that puts accounting and payroll capabilities directly into the products small businesses use every day. There’s no playbook. We are looking for a commercially sharp and relationship-driven Account Manager to own the revenue and commercial health of our embedded services partnerships with leading banks, fintechs, and vertical SaaS platforms. This role is distinct from classic account management. In embedded services, our partners are distribution channels they embed our product directly into their own platforms and customer journeys. The AM is therefore accountable not just for contract compliance and renewals, but for ensuring the commercial terms of each partnership accurately reflect the value being created, and for identifying opportunities to deepen and expand those relationships over time. Working closely with the Partner Success team, the AM is the commercial anchor of the partnership team. You will manage a portfolio of high-value, complex partner accounts and act as the primary point of contact for all commercial, contractual, and pricing matters. Hybrid schedule — work from the office three days a week.
