JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

You enjoy turning complex business needs into clear, scalable analytics solutions that improve how teams make decisions. As an Analytics Solutions Manager – Vice President within our Lending Product organization, you will lead the delivery of analytics and data products that power product strategy, operational excellence, and risk-informed growth. You will partner closely with product, technology, and risk stakeholders to define key metrics, build trusted datasets, and enable self-service insights. You bring a strong blend of hands-on technical depth and stakeholder leadership, ensuring solutions are scalable, well-governed, and measurable in impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the analytics roadmap for lending products, aligning to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate product and operational goals into well-defined metrics, reporting, and analytics requirements.
  • Lead design and architecture review of curated datasets (data products) that enable consistent KPIs across teams and channels.
  • Partner with product and technology teams to build and maintain reliable data pipelines, data quality controls, and observability.
  • Build scalable dashboards and executive-ready insights that drive action across product, sales, and operations.
  • Establish best practices for metric definitions, experimentation/measurement, and performance tracking.
  • Apply advanced analytics (segmentation, propensity, forecasting, optimization) to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure analytics solutions meet governance, privacy, and information security standards; document lineage and controls.
  • Influence cross-functional decisions through clear storytelling, trade-off framing, and strong executive presence.
  • Mentor analysts/engineers (directly or through matrix leadership) and raise the technical bar for deliverables.
  • Manage delivery from concept to launch, including stakeholder alignment, release readiness, and post-launch adoption.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience delivering analytics and data solutions in a product, technology, or financial services environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Java and Python for data analysis, transformation, and automation.
  • Experience with RDMS – Aurora Postgres, Oracle or Redshift and modern data platforms (data lake/warehouse concepts).
  • Experience with data modeling (dimensional/semantic layers), metric standardization, and KPI governance.
  • Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) and executive dashboards.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple systems using APIs, events (Kafka), or batch ingestion patterns.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery practices: version control (Git), testing, documentation, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Ability to lead in a matrixed environment—driving alignment across product, engineering, and control partners.
  • Excellent communication skills: you can explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and influence decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking with a bias toward measurable impact and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in lending (origination, underwriting, servicing, portfolio management) and related performance metrics.
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams, including setting standards for code, documentation, and analytics QA.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
