Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs, and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Automation Engineer, Functional Test Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Automation Engineer, Functional Test Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Gathering requirements and designing scalable systems as part of the software development lifecycle; Coding in Java with object oriented programming; Testing end-to-end functionality; Deploying applications; Developing and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium and Appium; Testing and validating RESTful web services using comprehensive API testing practices, including functional, performance, integration, and automation; enabling integration and communication between distributed systems using quality assurance practices, including risk-based testing and exploratory testing; Applying Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development using Cucumber and Gherkin for web and mobile applications; Conducting performance testing and optimization for web and mobile applications using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analysis techniques. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Debugging applications using Chrome DevTools, Postman, and Selenium; Identifying and resolving application issues to maintain functionality and enhance user experience.

Full-Time. Salary: $160,400 - $185,000 per year.
