Solution Owner - Pre-Sales

Position Description

At CGI, we partner with clients to deliver complex business and technology transformation programmes that create measurable value and long-term impact. As a Solution Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end solutions that align business goals, operational needs, and technology strategies across large-scale programmes and high-profile client engagements.

You’ll lead collaborative architecture and stakeholder discussions, helping clients navigate complexity, manage risk, and deliver innovative solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. Working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, you’ll influence strategic decisions, guide multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to transformative programmes that shape the future of digital services and enterprise technology.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary architecture teams to define solution roadmaps, governance approaches, and implementation strategies across business and technology domains. You’ll contribute to bids, programmes, and transformation initiatives by providing technical leadership, shaping solution direction, and ensuring alignment between business needs, delivery capability, compliance standards, and commercial objectives. Alongside driving innovation and business value, you’ll support collaborative ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement across architecture and delivery practices.
