JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our innovative team as a Product Portfolio Operations Manager and lead a horizontal strategy function for a portfolio of financial services operations products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that enable product teams to deliver operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business outcomes with impacts to millions of customers and thousands of employees.  You will partner with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business stakeholders to operationalize strategy, streamline processes, and elevate decision quality. Your leadership will help us set new standards in product excellence.


As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager within the  Operations Cross Product Strategy team, you will coordinate across products, drive operational effectiveness, and implement portfolio strategies aligned to business priorities. You will upskill teams, optimize product delivery frameworks, and manage change. You will use JIRA, Align, and Microsoft tools to ensure transparency, traceability, and actionable insights. You will apply agile and product lifecycle expertise to adapt to evolving needs. Also you will leverage data, feedback, and analytics to inform decisions and improve offerings. You will champion customer-centric continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and fostering new ways of working in a collaborative, innovative culture.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work across products and product lines to ensure delivery against business objectives
  • Execute strategy for reporting and communications to support portfolio management operations and change initiatives, building advanced data queries, reports and dashboards that surface actionable insights.
  • Oversee and coach teams to implement and adapt the full product-line framework, serving as the subject matter expert on JIRA, process optimization, and agile delivery best practices
  • Drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove barriers to success
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business goals
  • Analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements
  • Manage multiple priorities in a highly complex environment
  • Foster an inclusive culture that supports individual growth and career mobility

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness and portfolio management initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience operating within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in developing and implementing product strategies aligned with business goals
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Strong customer orientation and experience gathering and analyzing customer feedback
  • Ability to lead within a highly complex environment and adapt to change
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Background in Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Credit Cards
  • Experience with portfolio-level tracking and reporting
  • Familiarity with large-scale product portfolios
  • Experience in change management and process optimization
  • Advanced understanding of financial controls and resource management
  • Experience in fostering innovation within product teams
