JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Data Validation Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Remediation and Correction functional area, you care for the identification, classification, and correction of customer impacts caused by business process or operational breaks within CCB
As a Corrections Validation Manager in CCB Remediation and Corrections, you will lead a team of data validation analysts responsible for ensuring accurate and timely corrections of customer impacts.  You will develop and implement  any new data validation strategies and monitor existing strategies to ensure they are implemented correctly.  You will also be responsible for developing processes and procedures, and incorporating appropriate tools into the validation process.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all analytics work performed by the team. 
  • Ensures all work is completed by mandated timeline.
  • Engages with stakeholders to troubleshoot and develop validation approaches for correction cases.
  • Trains and mentors team in data analytics work, provides performance feedback to team on a regular basis.
  • Provides regular updates to Senior Leadership on cases status.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the overall Data Validation strategy for the Correction function
  • Actively engage in process adherence and improvement discussions

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of code development or equivalent work experience 
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Complex querying skills in SAS, SQL and Snowflake environment
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Detailed and quality oriented perspective
  • Team Player with the ability to work independently
     

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience working with at least one Chase CCB LOB Auto and Wealth Management
