Senior Underwriter - US Casualty

Following internal promotion our International Casualty team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Underwriter focusing on US Casualty business. You will play a key role in maintaining momentum within a well‑established and growing book, providing confidence and reassurance to brokers while contributing to the profitable development of our US Casualty offering.
Working closely with senior underwriting leadership, this is a highly visible role with genuine scope to shape underwriting outcomes, deepen broker relationships, and further develop your market profile within a collaborative, underwriting‑led environment.

Your new role
This role supports business strategy through ownership of underwriting decisions, development of broker and client relationships, and active management of portfolio profitability and risk.
Key responsibilities involve generating new business, retaining renewals, and ensuring the overall profitability of a specific designated book of business within QBE’s Specialty Credit and Trade Finance portfolio.
