We’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and play a key role in building and evolving high-quality, cloud-native solutions used daily by our customers. ?? About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll do more than write great code — you’ll help shape how we build software. You’ll work closely with engineers, product and design teams to deliver scalable, reliable and high-performing systems that enable hundreds of vehicle valuations and transactions every day. You’ll influence technical direction, champion best practice and take pride in quality across everything you deliver. This is a role for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, mentoring others and solving real-world problems at scale. ?? What You’ll Be Doing Designing, building and maintaining cloud-native applications using modern engineering practices Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code aligned to in-house standards Developing solutions using .NET, Azure, React and SQL Server Reviewing technical designs and code, helping to raise the bar across the team Championing CI/CD, test automation and “shift-left” principles Identifying and resolving performance, scalability and security challenges Collaborating in Agile / product-driven teams, adapting to evolving customer needs Producing clear technical documentation and contributing to knowledge sharing across Cox Automotive Supporting and mentoring fellow engineers ?
