Due to the secure nature of this project, candidates must either already hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security Clearance. This role is primarily based on a secure client site with attendance required five days per week. Some flexibility may be available depending on business and security requirements.
We are looking for a highly skilled, proactive, and mission-driven DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will apply your expertise in automation, infrastructure, and DevOps practices to build and maintain secure, scalable systems that support critical national services.
You will collaborate closely with developers, testers, and platform engineers to diagnose complex issues, improve system reliability, and automate key parts of the software delivery lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include working across IaC-driven environments such as Kubernetes and Puppet-managed infrastructure, supporting deployment pipelines, and ensuring applications are delivered reliably into production.
You will also take an active role in Agile ceremonies (Kanban and/or Scrum), contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
