We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Compliance & Control to join our Core Compliance – Regulatory Change Management team. This role is located in Lake Mary – HYBRID
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Global Horizon Scanning coverage to identify relevant regulatory changes, regulatory events, notices or other publications of relevance to BNY
Triage and allocation of regulatory change alerts
Tracking and reporting of regulatory changes
Coordination of Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRR) inventory updates and mappings
Oversight of completion of regulatory change alerts
Escalation and reporting of overdue regulatory alert assessments
Co-ordination and tracking of updates to the LRR inventory
Responding to queries around Regulatory Change tooling
Support with MI, metrics and reporting where required
Present at regulatory change management forum
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Education: minimum graduate in Finance
Preferred experience: minimum of 5-7 years industry experience out of which minimum 2-3 years of Compliance, Regulatory Change Management and/or Horizon Scanning experience.
Awareness of Regulatory regimes/horizon scanning frameworks preferred. Global regulatory experience or awareness is preferred.
Should have knowledge of the financial services industry, and a general knowledge of compliance concepts.
Strong analytical skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines, work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy to achieve quality results.
The role requires interaction with internal stakeholders at all levels up to senior management and consequently the role necessitates strong collaboration skills. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and the ability to understand compliance policies and process assigned tasks in accordance with procedures.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Good analytical skills capable of identifying, collating and distilling relevant information.
Focused attitude to work with the ability to constantly meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and balance competing, time sensitive demands.
Preferred experience with AI tools and concepts such as CoPilot.
