Business Technology Analyst

Provides complex analysis of business systems and user needs, ensuring alignment of the business technology strategy. Leads system set-up, technical designs, and test planning for aligned business needs.

Join Vanguard’s technology organization, supporting Finance at the intersection of modern platforms, data, and enterprise systems. As a Business Technology Analyst, you’ll lead requirements gathering, system design, and testing efforts that translate complex Finance and accounting needs into scalable, well‑controlled technology solutions. This role partners closely with Finance stakeholders to enable accurate reporting, efficient processes, and a digital‑first operating model.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes business and user needs and documents requirements. Develops moderately complex information systems and advises on the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Translates clients’ requirements to functional documentation. Formulates and defines the systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
• Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results. Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications.
• Leads the implementation of systems and software. Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes. Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues.
• Performs user support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications. Leads the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
• Guides and advises less experienced crew.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Five year's related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Solid Oracle Cloud ERP experience strongly preferred.
