The GTM Strategist is responsible for shaping and operationalizing end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategies that drive adoption, retention, and growth across priority products and segments. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Learning & Development, and Events to translate strategy into integrated, always‑on enablement that improves readiness, confidence, and execution. The GTM Strategist serves as a strategic orchestrator, ensuring consistent narrative delivery, disciplined execution, and measurable impact across launches, campaigns, forums, and experiences. By leveraging data, feedback, and platforms such as enablement systems and leadership forums, the role enables frontline teams and leaders to execute confidently while contributing to the long‑term vision of Sales Excellence. Key Responsibilities Define and operationalize GTM strategies aligned to business priorities and growth objectives Partner with cross‑functional leaders to drive integrated enablement across content, training, events, and communications Establish operating rhythms, execution plans, and reinforcement mechanisms to sustain adoption over time Embed leadership alignment and coaching into GTM execution to improve consistency and performance Track and assess effectiveness using engagement, readiness, and confidence metrics to inform continuous improvement
The Go-To-Market Strategist leads and manages projects or multiple workstreams within broader strategic programs, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives, market dynamics, and client needs. This role partners closely with Sales/Service, Product, and Marketing teams to define, operationalize, and continuously refine go-to-market strategies that drive measurable results across priority segments within Vanguard Workplace Solutions.
The strategist plays a critical role in translating market insights into actionable segmentation strategies, tailoring value propositions, and building targeted approaches that resonate with distinct client personas. They leverage competitive intelligence and industry trends to inform positioning, identify whitespace opportunities, and strengthen differentiation in the marketplace. In addition, the role drives enablement efforts by equipping client-facing teams with the tools, messaging, and training needed to effectively execute go-to-market plans and improve conversion outcomes.
Acting as a trusted advisor, the strategist applies best practices to guide execution, remove barriers, and ensure the successful delivery of key milestones. They communicate progress, risks, and insights to stakeholders at all levels, while building strong cross-functional relationships to influence decisions and foster alignment. The strategist proactively identifies risks and opportunities, bringing forward data-driven recommendations that enable stakeholder buy-in and support the achievement of strategic growth objectives.
