JOB DESCRIPTION

Pricing is one of the most powerful ways we can deliver value to customers while driving responsible growth. In this role, you’ll set the direction for modern pricing capabilities and lead teams to deliver customer-first outcomes at scale.

 Job Summary 

As an Executive Director in Card Pricing , you lead a multi-year product strategy and translate it into a measurable roadmap and delivered capabilities. You’ll connect customer insights, business priorities, and technology execution to modernize pricing experiences and decisioning. You’ll partner with senior leaders across product, data, design, technology, and risk to align on tradeoffs, investment, and outcomes. You’ll also build and coach high-performing product talent and raise the bar on delivery discipline and controls.

 Job Responsibilities 

  • Set and own the multi-year vision, strategy, and outcomes for card pricing capabilities, aligned to customer needs and business objectives
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery across discovery, design, build, launch, and ongoing performance management
  • Translate strategy into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps, balancing value, feasibility, and risk
  • Use customer research, data insights, and market trends to identify opportunities and validate solutions
  • Partner across card portfolios to drive enterprise-wide pricing modernization and coordinated delivery
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance, and decision forums to enable fast, aligned execution across teams
  • Drive measurable impact through clear success metrics, experimentation plans, and continuous optimization
  • Communicate complex topics in simple terms for audiences ranging from working teams to senior executives
  • Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, removing blockers and accelerating delivery
  • Champion an exceptional customer experience, ensuring solutions are intuitive, transparent, and scalable
  • Promote a strong control environment by embedding risk management, process discipline, and documentation into delivery

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product leadership, pricing, or adjacent capabilities in financial services or technology
  • Proven ability to define and deliver a roadmap across a large, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success building new customer-facing or decisioning capabilities from concept through adoption and scale
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching product managers and leading through influence at senior levels
  • Deep experience partnering with technology, data, design, analytics, and operations to deliver outcomes
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgment; ability to make tradeoffs using data and customer insights
  • Experience delivering in agile delivery models and working with multiple delivery teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives
  • Familiarity with modern technology approaches (cloud platforms, data platforms, distributed services, application programming interfaces)
  • Comfort working with legacy platforms and modernizing capabilities over time
  • Demonstrated commitment to risk management and operating with strong controls

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Experience in consumer card pricing, or lending (including governance and policy considerations)
  • Experience leading large transformation programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies
  • Strong background in experimentation, measurement design, and performance optimization
  • Experience partnering with legal, compliance, and risk teams on customer-impacting changes
  • Experience building business cases, investment plans, and capacity planning for product portfolios
  • Track record of improving customer experiences while meeting performance and control objectives
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments
