THE WORK

This role will be responsible for execution of active contracts and the capture of follow-on work. This rote includes executing all phases of contract execution across development and sustainment efforts. Primary customers for this rote will span both internal and external organizations across the Lockheed Martin Multi-Domain Combat Systems (MDCS) market segment, the U.S. Navy, the Korean Defense Acquisition Procurement Administration (DAPA) and the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN). This position is responsible for the leadership and functional management of the program management team, including coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment and work assignments.


The successful candidate will be a primary interface to all customers and is expected to lead across all functions to effectively deliver on our commitments, responsible for contract cost, schedule, and technical performance, as well as leading affordability improvements and digital transformation across all aspect of the program, coordinating the preparation of proposals, business plans, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts. This role will collaborate across functional teams to ensure flawless program execution, focused on meeting (or exceeding) all program financial, schedule, contractual and technical performance commitments. This role will report to the Asia Portfolio Senior Program Manager within the MDCS International Mission Systems (KMS) Sub-Market Segment. This position will be based out of Moorestown, NJ.


Domestic and international (Republic of Korea) travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.


• Prior successful experience in a Program Management role.


• Experience in proposal development for the capture of new contract scope.


• Experience with RMS Moorestown Systems Engineering computer program development organizations and processes.


• Strong leadership skills


• Able to effectively present at Director / Navy Captain levels.


• Demonstrated Full-Spectrum Leadership competencies.


Desired Skills:

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of how programs support LM business strategy


• Experience in FMS programs and a strong understanding of the PEO IWS and USN FMS organizations.


• Possesses an understanding of Aegis FMS shipyard test programs, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT)/System Test and Analysis Equipment


• Experience with Offset Programs (Industrial Participation)


• Experience with (STAE) facilities and combat system/ship delivery to the customer navy.


• Possesses an understanding of Export Control requirements and the application of requirements during program execution.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week


Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.


This position is incentive plan eligible.
