JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive and shape how conversational and agentic artificial intelligence is delivered across products—turning emerging capabilities into intuitive, safe, and scalable experiences. You will work hands-on with product teams to improve how they define requirements and prioritize work using practical playbooks, onboarding, and low-friction tooling. You will help teams move faster with clarity while strengthening risk awareness and auditability.

As a Product Director in AEP (Acquisition & Enablement Platform), you will drive the delivery and adoption of conversational and agentic AI across our products, translating business needs into platform priorities and hands-on solutions. Your day will involve collaborating with product teams to refine requirements, streamline workflows, and embed responsible AI practices that ensure safety, scalability, and auditability. You'll lead the development of practical playbooks, onboarding, and tooling that empower teams to move faster with clarity and confidence, while strengthening risk awareness.

You'll join a high-performing team dedicated to building intuitive, scalable AI solutions that transform how we serve customers and operate internally. Together, you'll set clear operating models, decision rights, and delivery cadences, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. The team partners closely with product, engineering, design, and risk stakeholders to ensure consistent standards and measurable outcomes. Your leadership will help shape the future of AI in AEP making a tangible impact on both business growth and responsible technology use.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets 
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth 
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives 
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives 
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation 
  • Define and drive the AI platform product strategy, roadmap, and adoption plan to embed conversational and agentic artificial intelligence into product delivery at scale
  • Establish and operate a responsible AI governance framework covering model standards, prompt practices, data handling, bias controls, monitoring, and auditability
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to align platform capabilities and practices with regulatory expectations
  • Create scalable enablement through playbooks, onboarding, and tooling that reduces friction and drives repeatable adoption
  • Define success metrics and reporting that connect platform usage to measurable business outcomes, quality improvements, and risk reduction
  • Present executive-facing updates that translate technical tradeoffs into clear business cases and risk-aware recommendations

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications 
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics 
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management 
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions 
  • Formal training or certification in product engineering concepts
  • 10+ years of applied experience in product management or related fields
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale product platforms or shared capabilities with measurable adoption outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional delivery with Product Owners, engineering, design, and operations partners
  • Working knowledge of conversational AI product patterns, including prompt design and evaluation approaches
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks for responsible technology use, including controls, monitoring, and auditability
  • Strong executive communication skills, including translating technical decisions into clear, business-focused recommendations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skill

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Experience implementing responsible AI practices in regulated environments with legal and risk stakeholders
  • Familiarity with model lifecycle concepts such as testing, monitoring, drift management, and incident response
  • Experience designing self-service tooling and onboarding programs that scale enablement across multiple product teams
  • Background in modern product operating models, including decision rights, intake management, and outcome-based metrics
  • Experience delivering user-centric interfaces that simplify complex workflows for product teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including defining ambiguous problems, structuring decisions, and driving outcomes under constraints
