We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director – Product Manager, Collateral Optimization to join our Global Collateral team. This role is located in London.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for collateral optimization solutions, including product strategy, delivery, and commercialization, ensuring scalable and client‑centric outcomes.

  • Maintain and continuously refine a prioritized product backlog informed by client requests, intake processes, operational feedback, regulatory considerations, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate business and quantitative requirements into clear product specifications and partner with engineering teams throughout design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead execution and governance across collateral optimization and API‑enabled capabilities, coordinating closely with technology, operations, client service, sales, and external client business, operations, and technology teams.

  • Drive forward‑looking initiatives such as cross‑venue optimization, platform scalability, and software‑as‑a‑service delivery models.

  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to influence long‑term technology strategy, integration patterns, and platform evolution.

  • Partner directly with sell‑side client front‑office, treasury, risk, and operations teams to design and tailor optimization solutions aligned to liquidity, funding, balance sheet, and cost objectives.

  • Act as a subject‑matter expert during pre‑sales engagements, including client benchmarking, comparative analysis, and solution evaluations.

  • Drive continuous improvement across onboarding, implementation, and delivery workflows to reduce time‑to‑market, enhance client experience, and improve operational scalability.

  • Define, track, and report product objectives, delivery milestones, and key performance indicators to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, supporting solution positioning, onboarding commitments, and commercial discussions related to collateral optimization offerings.

  • Support product pricing discussions, including assessment and escalation of non‑standard commercial structures in line with governance requirements.

  • Partner with marketing teams to develop product messaging, client materials, and go‑to‑market initiatives supporting adoption and growth.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative or technical discipline.

  • Extensive background of leading client‑facing product management, product delivery, or implementation initiatives within the collateral management industry or broader financial services sector.

  • Demonstrated experience working with sell‑side clients, including broker‑dealers or financial institutions, supporting complex product, commercial, and operational requirements.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess complex financial, liquidity, and technology‑driven use cases.

  • Preferred experience with quantitative or “quants”‑oriented concepts, including optimization models, analytics, or data‑driven decision‑making applied to financial products.

  • Proven expertise in collateral management gained through product, operations, engineering, or client‑facing roles, with a strong understanding of collateral products and processes across U.S. and/or international markets.

  • Solid understanding of APIs, digital platforms, and modern software development practices.

  • Experience leveraging Agile delivery methodologies, including participation in Agile ceremonies, defining and managing requirements, and supporting all phases of the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and commercialization.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate cross‑functional technology and delivery teams, directly or indirectly, with accountability for execution, prioritization, and outcomes.

  • Experience supporting global client bases across multiple regions.
