This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week onsite in Glasgow (or 1 day per month if based further away).

Role Overview

As an iOS Developer, you will design, build, and maintain native iOS applications using modern Apple development tools. You’ll work closely with designers, backend engineers, product teams, and QA specialists to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle in an Agile environment, with opportunities to influence design, improve architecture, and enhance application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C
• Build intuitive and responsive mobile user interfaces
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and maintain quality standards
• Debug and resolve application issues and performance problems
• Maintain and enhance existing iOS applications
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration
• Stay up to date with modern iOS frameworks and tools
• Support continuous improvement of mobile applications

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience developing native iOS applications
• Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C
• Experience integrating REST APIs and external libraries
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Strong interest in continuous learning and iOS development trends
