To be successful as a Controls Automation Governance, you should have experience with:
Experience in MS SQL Server, data modelling, design, development and optimization for large scalable database applications
Experience of integration, SSIS design and development of ETL packages
OLAP development experience including star and snow flake schemas, multi-dimensional modelling, design and development of complex data solutions
Experience in building reporting dashboards, preferably using Tableau
Strong background in cyber assurance, security governance, or security operations, with experience overseeing control testing or audit outcomes at scale
Proven experience leading automation or data driven initiatives within complex enterprise environments
Deep understanding of control lifecycle management – design, testing, evidence, exception handling, and remediation
Ability to translate technical control outcomes into clear risk and assurance narratives for senior executives and regulators
Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.

Drive a high level of technical expertise in the use of RDBMSs.
Experience building or sponsoring executive cyber assurance dashboards and metrics.
Strong track record in reducing manual assurance effort, audit friction, and control failures through automation.
Working knowledge of industry cyber frameworks and regulatory expectations (e.g., NIST, ISO, internal enterprise standards).
Responsible for the successful delivery of Data Engineering and Automation initiatives to agreed quality and governance standards.
