Your future duties and responsibilities In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of complex application and cloud transformation solutions that enable clients to modernise their technology landscape and achieve strategic business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and clients to define architecture strategies, validate requirements, and create scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions aligned to business needs. You will also play an important role in supporting business growth by contributing to bids and proposals, helping shape compelling technical solutions that align with client requirements and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will influence decision-making, guide governance activities, and ensure successful delivery outcomes across both agile and traditional delivery environments. Key responsibilities • Deliver scalable application and cloud architecture solutions • Lead technical design strategy and governance decisions • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams • Analyse business requirements, risks, and solution options • Drive transformation programmes using innovative technologies • Coordinate technical bid responses and solution proposals • Advise on cost modelling, risk management, and delivery planning • Maintain alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards Required qualifications to be successful in this role To succeed in this role, you should have strong experience in solution and application architecture, with the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives and contribute to successful bid activities. You will bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside broad technical expertise across cloud and enterprise architecture environments. Experience working within structured delivery environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams will be key to success. Essential qualifications • Proven experience in application and solution architecture • Strong expertise in cloud architecture and design across multiple cloud providers • Experience with technical governance, risk analysis, and cost estimation • Strong understanding of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies • Proven ability to support and contribute to technical bid responses • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to design scalable, secure, and business-aligned technical solutions • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams • Knowledge of technical transformation and cloud migration programmes • TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural training is desirable #LI-JW1 Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
