Working at the heart of delivery transformation, you will drive automation, strengthen governance, improve deployment quality, and enable high-performing engineering teams to deliver value faster and more securely. Joining CGI means contributing to meaningful outcomes, collaborating with talented professionals, and having the opportunity to influence platform strategy while growing your expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

You will take ownership of CI/CD pipeline development, release management processes, platform optimisation, and deployment governance while helping teams improve operational efficiency and delivery quality. You will contribute to strategic platform improvements, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and support the evolution towards mature continuous delivery practices within a highly collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strengthen & Secure delivery pipelines through embedded security controls and quality gates
  • Collaborate & Improve with development, architecture, and security teams to enhance platform capabilities
  • Monitor & Maintain platform performance, scalability, resilience, and operational health
  • Support & Advise teams on API lifecycle management, deployment strategies, and platform best practices
  • Drive & Influence continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency, compliance, and auditability

You will have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices, cloud-based platforms, source control, automation, and delivery governance, combined with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting secure software delivery and implementing operational best practices will be key to your success.

Essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Release Engineering roles
