JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Corporate and Investment Bank, Equities Technology,, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of technology products and programs with a focus on Equities Business, Prime Financial Services, and Post Trade flows. You will blend operational management of product releases with robust program management capabilities, ensuring deployments deliver value at scale and align with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, technical fluency, and the ability to drive change across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct principal activities across the product delivery journey, including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, with a focus on Equities, Prime Financial Services, and Post Trade flows 
  • Own the change management framework across functional partners, ensuring adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements 
  • Maintain high visibility over product timelines and dependencies, monitor blockers, ensure adequate resourcing, and liaise with stakeholders and functional partners 
  • Coach and mentor the product delivery team on best practices, resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies 
  • Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration 
  • Oversee complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks 
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes 
  • Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms, and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency 
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications in Equities Markets / Financial Services
  • Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness in matrix organizations
  • Experience in enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies 
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics 
  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading large complex technology projects and programs in large organizations 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives 
  • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments 
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field 
  • Experience in Equities Business, Prime Financial Services, and Post Trade flows
  • Technical or Job Skills relevant to Product Delivery and Technical Program Management
