Reporting to the GM: Advertising, Partnerships & Social Media, our Senior Media Manager is an exciting role in our advertising team. You’ll lead, evolve and deliver our Media Strategy, looking after a multi-million pound budget, ensuring media investment drives short term trading performance and long term brand growth.
This role owns the relationship with the media agency and key platform partners, leading a data driven, insight led approach to media planning, activation and optimisation. Ensuring Jet2 remains ahead of the curve in a fast-changing media landscape, maximising efficiency, effectiveness and innovation whilst connecting new and existing audiences with our brand.

What you’ll be doing: Media Strategy:- Lead, evolve and deliver full-funnel media strategy, aligned to brand and business growth objectives. Development of channel mix recommendations in line with media landscape, owning quarterly strategic updates.
Media Planning:- Lead planning and activation across all media channels, ensuring the right balance of brand and sales driving investment.
Budget Management:- Own significant multi-million-pound media budgets, robust governance, optimisation and value.
Growth Exploration: - Stay at the cutting edge of media landscape evolution, consumption and audience behaviours to deliver strong and relevant media plans, constantly monitoring competitor activity and keeping up to date with emerging platforms.
Media Effectiveness & Optimisation:- Lead the use of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and other effectiveness frameworks to optimise investment and inform future planning. Use first and third party data to continuously improve performance, owning and shaping the media and data roadmap.
Media Tracking & Reporting:- Track campaign performance against agreed KPIs, compiling performance reports, analyse campaign data to identify trends and new opportunities, implement testing plans and learning agendas to ensure measurement is front of mind.
Partner Management:- Lead relationship with media agency, platforms and partners holding them accountable for strategic thinking, delivery, innovation and results, ensuring strong joint business plans are in place and delivered against.
Media Platform Ownership:- Oversee activation and optimisation across key platforms, both inhouse channels and agency managed media, constantly ensuring plans fully leverage platform capabilities, targeting, AI and automation.
Cross Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with creative teams, wider marketing teams, analytics and commercial to support integrated activity and ensure strategies are fully aligned to maximise impact and consistency.
What you’ll have: - Proven experience managing large‑scale media budgets across multiple channels.
- Strong experience working with media agencies and platform partners (e.g. Google, Meta).
- Deep understanding of media effectiveness, MMM, measurement and optimisation.
- Data driven mindset with the ability to turn insight into action.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
