Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Wealth Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pune, India.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Design and implement enterprise-grade applications ensuring high availability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams in an Agile Product-Oriented Model (POM) environment to define functional specifications and deliver next-generation products.
Design and deliver responsive, accessible front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript and Angular Material, adopting component-driven architecture and best practices.
Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot (Java), leveraging Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA, and integrating with relational/NoSQL data stores.
Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency testing for critical applications.
Provide application support, including troubleshooting and resolving high-priority incidents, and implementing fixes.
Drive end-to-end delivery across the SDLC—requirements refinement, solution design, coding, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and operational support—with strong focus on performance and security.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Perform full stack web application development using technologies such as Java/J2EE, Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Jasmine/Karma) and Spring Boot (Java 11+, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA, REST API design), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Product-Oriented Model (POM).
Experience with JIRA, Maven, Git, SonarQube, JUnit, Microservices.
CI/CD and DevOps: Git, Maven/NPM, automated builds and deployments, containerization with Docker, orchestration on AKS/OpenShift; strong understanding of API security (JWT, TLS), secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10), and secrets management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools, load testing frameworks, and incident management processes.
Basic database knowledge – SQL, JDBC preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, champion engineering standards and best practices, and foster collaboration across product, design, QA, SRE, and platform teams.
