Your future duties and responsibilities In this role, you will lead the architectural strategy for CGI’s most significant and complex opportunities, shaping solutions that deliver tangible business value. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships and guiding organisations through transformation by aligning technology with strategic objectives. From early-stage opportunity shaping through to delivery oversight, you will ensure continuity, quality, and successful outcomes across the full lifecycle. You will take ownership of end-to-end solution design across multi-tower environments, bringing innovative thinking to complex challenges while being supported by a collaborative network of experts. Your leadership will influence major deals, strengthen client partnerships, and contribute to the growth of CGI’s enterprise architecture capability. Lead & Shape Strategy: Define and drive architectural strategy for large-scale opportunities (£10m+), supporting deal qualification and win strategy Engage & Influence: Build trusted relationships with CxO-level stakeholders, translating complex solutions into clear business value Design & Govern: Lead end-to-end enterprise architecture across integrated service offerings, ensuring alignment to business and regulatory needs Own & Deliver Solutions: Oversee scalable, secure solutions across applications, infrastructure, networks, and third-party ecosystems Drive Bid Excellence: Lead architectural input into bids, including solution design, proposal development, and commercial alignment Assure & Guide Delivery: Provide oversight through transition and delivery, ensuring solutions achieve intended outcomes Mentor & Grow Capability: Support and develop senior architects, promoting best practice and reusable innovation across the function Required qualifications to be successful in this role You will bring extensive experience operating at an enterprise architecture level, with a strong track record of shaping and delivering large-scale digital transformation or IT services deals. You will be confident engaging senior stakeholders, translating complex technical strategies into business outcomes, and leading architecture across the full lifecycle from pre-sales through to delivery. You should have proven experience leading architecture for complex deals exceeding £10m Strong ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including CxO-level executives Demonstrated success in shaping, winning, and delivering large-scale transformation programmes Extensive experience designing end-to-end managed services across multiple service towers Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and service management (e.g. ITIL) Experience working across pre-sales, bid, and delivery phases of major engagements Proven leadership and mentoring capability within high-performing architecture teams #LI-SF2 Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
