We're modernising a large-scale legacy .NET platform into a cloud-native ecosystem built on AWS, modern .NET, event-driven architecture and AI-enabled engineering practices. Our systems support one of the UK's largest vehicle preparation and storage operations, processing more than 200,000 vehicles annually for manufacturers, finance providers and rental businesses. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology platform while helping define how modern software engineering and AI-assisted development are applied across the business. What You'll Be Doing You'll work within a collaborative engineering team to: Design, build and deploy scalable applications using modern .NET technologies. Help migrate a legacy .NET Framework monolith into AWS-native services and microservices. Develop robust APIs and event-driven solutions. Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making. Champion engineering excellence through automated testing, CI/CD and modern development practices. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, quality and consistency. Take ownership from design through to production support and continuous improvement.
