JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

The Originations Lending Strategy Lead is responsible for the Small Business Credit Card application experience. This individual will develop strategic plans and partnerships aimed at increasing new customer acquisition, removing friction within the process, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of our decisions to better meet our client needs. Critical qualities for success will include an ability to identify opportunities and solutions, track record of building strong relationships with internal partners, demonstrated experience influencing across the organization, and an in-depth knowledge of the card lending industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • DDevelop a roadmap of business card originations initiatives that drives increased business card automated decisions, enhanced efficiency decision process, and an improved overall credit line decisioning process
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Card Lending Services, Operations, and other critical partners within the Small Business Card application experience to ensure integrated plans and roadmaps
  • Maintain strategic communication across key product and organizational forums to communicate roadmaps, prioritization and criticality of key work, and as an opportunity to identify efficiencies
  • Work closely with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure roadmap priorities follow all regulatory requirements

Job Skills & Qualifications

             REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of card lending strategy, marketing, or operations and change management experience 
  • 3 + Years demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving project deadlines 
  • 3+ years demonstrated ability of influencing cross-functional teams, managing complexity, and creative problem-solving
  • 3+ years’ experience working within Agile environment
  • Experience building governance structures that balance growth with regulatory and risk requirements
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills in a matrixed enterprise environment
  • Intermediate to expert level knowledge of JIRA with ability to build dashboards and pull data

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business credit card specific experience is preferred
  • Proficiency within JIRA align
