Linux Engineer
Location: London
Working arrangements: on-site
Clearance: eligible for DV clearance
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000
The role:
We are seeking a Linux Engineer to join our growing team. You will be working on securityfocused systems leading the migration from current architecture to a RedHat OpenShift
Platform setup. You will be hands-on with systems engineering tasks whilst also being responsible for updating documentation and collaborating with other engineering departments.
Core Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain systems High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Lead and execute the RedHat OpenShift Platform workload migration project.
• Participate in project workshops and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Oversee and manage system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance andreliability.
• Ensure system security is maintained and continuously improved.
What we are looking for:
• Deep understanding of Linux engineering and system administration.
• Experience with Rocky, CentOS and RedHat Linux distributions
• Previous experience with the RedHat OpenShift platform
• Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Packer, Ansible, Terraform and Puppet.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere.
• Experience with migrating workloads, preferable to RedHat platforms
