We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President: Full-Stack Engineer to join our Wealth Service Client Platform team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Spring Batch for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and loading
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and DDL/DML scripts for relational databases
• Architect batch jobs with robust error handling, re-startability, partitioning, and parallel processing
• Integrate services with message brokers (Kafka) for event-driven architectures
• Collaborate with database administrators to design efficient schemas and indexing strategies
• Implement unit, integration, and performance tests; ensure code quality via code reviews
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation
• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision records

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 8+ years of Java (Java 17+) development experience
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data JPA/JDBC
• Experience with Spring Cloud (Config, Gateway, Eureka/Consul, Feign)
• RESTful API design and development
• Spring Batch / ETL : Hands-on experience building production-grade Spring Batch jobs
• Expertise in ItemReader, ItemProcessor, ItemWriter, JobLauncher, StepScope
• Batch patterns: chunk-oriented processing, partitioning, parallel steps, retry/skip logic
• Experience with Spring JDBC JdbcCursorItemReader / JdbcPagingItemReader for batch reads
• Data migration and ETL pipeline design from multiple source systems (DB, files, APIs)
• Expert-level SQL: complex joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, query optimization
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
• Schema design, normalization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis
• Microservices design principles: service decomposition, API contracts, resilience patterns
• Container-based deployment: Docker, Kubernetes
• Messaging: Apache Kafka or similar
• Experience with distributed tracing, logging (ELK, Splunk), and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana)
