Administrator, Credit Transaction Management Transversal – BNP
Location: Montreal, QC
Starting Salary: $50,000 CAD
**In-office presence is required a minimum of 3 days per week, one of which must be on a Monday and/or a Friday.

The position at a glance
The Credit Transaction Management Transversal team is part of Operations under Global Banking. The team manages and mitigates credit risk and operational risk across several axes with continual review, enhancement, and deployment of controls to ensure adherence to the evolving regulatory environment, firm policies and procedures, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities Include:
• Verify and track all required legal documentation, including filing, archiving, and monitoring security interests.
• Input and validate documents, covenants, guarantees, insurance, collateral, and valuations across risk and local banking systems.
• Upload documentation to repositories and maintain tracking logs.
• Source and update covenant documentation; notify Front Office and Risk of covenant defaults.
• Review legal documents for potential Federal Reserve (BIC) pledging.
• Notify Loan Servicing and Front Office of loan margin adjustments.
• Process perfection service invoices and review private insurance premiums.
• Enter data for annual reviews, internal ratings, and Capital Market Lines for Corporate Clients.
• Authorize loan drawdowns and Letter of Credit issuances.
• Monitor and follow up on exception reports, data quality issues, and receipt of credit decisions.
• Prepare and distribute internal exposure and control reports (e.g., past due reviews, watchlist, provisions).
• Work with data owners to resolve system issues impacting risk data quality.
Qualifications:
• Highly effective communicator, written and oral, with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage
workflow in a changing deadline driven environment
• Microsoft Office advanced technical skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Power Bi, Power query a plus
• Knowledge of LoanIQ a plus
• Experience in Middle Office and/or Operations environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of banking products and practices including and understanding of loan structure, terms, and credit agreement.
