Sage is creating a new market category with Embedded Services, disrupting to win volume market share through platforms that serve SMBs. We’re rapidly scaling Embedded Services, taking our platform proposition to the world’s most innovative banks, fintechs and vertical SaaS providers. To help us on this mission, we’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and execute the product marketing plan for Embedded Services as we expand across categories and regions.
As Senior Product Marketing Manager for Embedded Services, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of Embedded Services across diverse markets and audiences. Your expertise will ensure our propositions are finely tuned to meet the evolving needs of platform partners in this nascent market, while also supporting rapid regional expansion.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, to define and execute strategies that accelerate Sage’s position as leader, win platform partners and maximise market share. You will be the bridge between deep market insights and product delivery, championing the needs of the market and influencing product priorities to deliver capabilities that accelerate platform acquisition, customer adoption and market leadership. You’ll create value propositions for new and emerging Embedded Services that enable Sage to drive clear differentiation and market domination, working across teams, crafts and functions to bring to life in dynamic ways.

Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our London, Winnersh or Newcastle office.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis and research to define and understand ICP needs, pain points, emerging trends, and competitor analysis, translating insights into priority segments, unmet needs and messaging that resonates with buyers.
• Develop compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that clearly differentiate Embedded Services in the market across ICPs and across service categories, building out the narrative in playbooks to support rapid scalability.
• Partner with Product Management on the strategic roadmap for the Embedded Services proposition, considering market insights, platform needs, and regional requirements to achieve product:market fit.
• Define a scalable proposition and packaging framework for Embedded Services to support the commercial model and monetisation strategy across service categories as the proposition expands.
• Drive the launch of new Embedded Services partnerships, partnering with platforms to build joint value propositions, working closely with GTM teams and Marketing to maximise awareness and impact across key audiences and channels.
• Create and shape Embedded Services as a market category, partnering with Brand, Comms and Marketing to drive Embedded Services evangelism with key audiences externally, including analysts and technology decision makers and influencers.
• Position Sage as a leader in the Embedded Services space by creating and sharing insightful content and thought leadership pieces that showcase our expertise, innovation, platform wins and success metrics.
Who You Are:
• Experience: Several years in product marketing, product, or related business area, ideally within fintech, accounting, payroll, or related tech sectors, ideally within a high growth, fast-moving, dynamic or start-up environment.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the technology landscape, including emerging technology and regulatory landscape, platforms, AI, vertical SaaS, embedded finance or related areas.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and targeted propositions that drive business growth.
• Outcome Oriented: Proven track record of working collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve shared goals, with clear results and measureable outcomes. Ability to use AI tools to support productivity and enhance impact of product marketing outputs.
• Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering solutions that meet the new and emerging needs of platform partners and their customers in a changing and dynamic market.
