Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. As a team member on our Software Engineering

team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of:

Integration and test various parts of our system

that implement transmitter and receiver designs

for diverse mission solutions across a wide array

of domains including communications, telecom,

electronic, and sensor systems.

  • Enhance waveforms to increase resiliency to

real world conditions. algorithm performance /

compute efficiency, and probability of detect &

decode

  • Develop, Debug, Test across several C & C++

Code Bases

  • Design & Architect new waveform approaches

and logic

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer

Science, Software Engineer, or related degree from an accredited college.

- Knowledge of Linux OS

- Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

- Programming experience in C++ or Python

programming languages.

-Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

- Understanding and have knowledge of Python Frameworks

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience working in a Linux environment

- Test Automation experience

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work well in an Agile team

environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
