JOB DESCRIPTION

Bring your delivery leadership and data product expertise to a role where you can scale how high-quality data is published, discovered, and reused across the firm. You will help strengthen controls, improve throughput, and enable more consistent data experiences for teams that rely on external and reference data every day.

As an External Data Analytics Solutions Manager at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Data and Analytics Data Product organization, you will lead the execution of external data and reference data publishing workstreams and partner closely with product, engineering, governance, and suppliers to deliver data products that are reliable, well-documented, and ready for use. You will drive day-to-day delivery ownership, remove obstacles, and improve the repeatability and predictability of publishing and onboarding processes. You will help ensure published data products align to clear outcomes and meet expectations for quality, consistency, and risk awareness.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution across external data and reference data publishing workstreams, including plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery tracking
  • Drive predictable delivery of new datasets and enhancements while maintaining strong operational controls and execution quality
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across stakeholders, including issue triage, escalation management, and delivery readiness checkpoints
  • Partner with data owners and governance stakeholders to ensure published products are well-documented, usable, and aligned to business outcomes
  • Lead engagements with external data suppliers to define cloud delivery specifications, implementation expectations, operating processes, and metadata requirements
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding activities to enable scalable, repeatable publishing patterns
  • Partner with technology teams to onboard new publishing pipelines into cloud data platforms (including Amazon Web Services and Snowflake), from requirements through launch
  • Serve as a liaison across product, engineering, and data users to align on scope, sequencing, and release readiness

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in data products, data delivery, data management, analytics, or technical program/project management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery across multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business goals into product requirements and technical execution plans
  • Experience operating in a regulated or controlled environment with a consistent focus on quality, controls, and risk awareness
  • Experience in financial services and data product operating models
  • Experience working with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (for example, Amazon Web Services and Snowflake)
  • Experience driving or supporting data publishing, data pipeline onboarding, and metadata and/or data catalog processes
  • Experience working with third-party data suppliers and external data onboarding

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience improving publishing throughput, predictability, and control frameworks through process design and measurable delivery routines
  • Experience defining standards for reference data publishing to support consistency and interoperability across data products
  • Familiarity with approaches that use generative AI and large language models to accelerate metadata discovery and data product enablement
  • Experience creating repeatable onboarding patterns and operating processes for supplier-delivered cloud data feeds
