To be successful as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer - AVP, you should have:
Cloud, Containers and DevOps experience with AWS (networking/compute/storage), ECS/Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and building highly available multi-AZ systems
Data a ML Engineering experience in Databricks (Spark), Python/Spark development, large-scale data pipelines, and workflow orchestration (Airflow)
Experience in MLOps, Observability & Security, SRE/DevOps practices, model deployment/monitoring, and considerable security/compliance (IAM, secrets management, PII protection)
Other highly valued skills include:
Exposure to data streaming and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, and experience integrating streaming data pipelines with batch processing systems
Familiarity with deploying and managing microservices and web applications (Java backends, React frontends) on container platforms (ECS, Kubernetes). Experience optimizing these services for scalability and performance in cloud environments
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS), including basic administration, performance tuning, and data backup/recovery strategies
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $ 120,000
Maximum Salary: $ 175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
