Application Program Manager

We're growing our UK team and looking for an experienced Application Program Manager to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise-scale application programmes.

UK-based | Hybrid working | Client-facing (avg. 2 days/week on-site)

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end programme delivery — on scope, on budget, on time
• Managing and mentoring a team of project managers
• Driving Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps (CI/CD, automation) practices across delivery teams
• Engaging directly with clients — typically two days a week on-site
• Overseeing budgets, vendors, and financial tracking
• Spotting opportunities for improvement and making them happen

You'll work across exciting sectors including Public Sector, Health, Finance, Energy, Transport, Retail, and Manufacturing — with real variety in the programmes you lead.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of programme/project management experience in large enterprise environments
• 3+ years in a similar programme management role
• Strong Agile and DevOps knowledge — you've lived it, not just read about it
• Confident managing budgets, risks, and vendor relationships
• A natural communicator who can engage at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)

Bonus points for:

• PMP, PgMP, APM PMQ/PPQ or equivalent certification
• Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum Master, etc.)
• An advanced degree
