Role Overview

As a senior Client Partner within the Banking & Financial Services practice, you will take ownership of strategic client relationships, drive business growth, and lead high-value engagements across the UK and Asia.

You will operate at a senior level, shaping client strategy, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring CGI delivers measurable business impact through consulting, delivery, and digital transformation services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic banking and financial services client accounts
  • Develop and execute account and sales strategies from pipeline to closure
  • Drive new business and revenue growth across complex engagements
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executives
  • Shape go-to-market strategies aligned with market trends and client needs
  • Lead end-to-end deal shaping, bid development, and commercial negotiations
  • Oversee financial performance and operational delivery across accounts
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams across sales and delivery functions
  • Collaborate across CGI’s global network to deliver integrated solutions
  • Identify market opportunities and influence strategic direction

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in sales, account leadership, or business development within banking/financial services
  • Proven track record of growing and managing senior client relationships
  • Deep understanding of the UK banking sector and regulatory environment
  • Consistent achievement of revenue and growth targets
  • Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading complex deals and bid processes
  • Ability to shape financial models and commercial propositions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of IT and digital transformation services
